POOR GRAMMAR:This book feels like it has been written by someone with a poor grasp of English. The author has used his spellchecker, and the formatting is OK, but obviously doesn't know how to use "the." Such errors spellcheckers don't fix. Examples:* In Swift language, it is possible...* it is possible to go ahead and build an empty array which has literal, this can be written with the []:There are other grammatical errors also, which make reading the text annoying.ANNOYING SETUP:There is no overview of the book, no general information about the language. It just starts off by describing how to set variables and arrays.NOT FOR BEGINNERS, NOR FOR EXPERTSI'm not a beginning programmer. I'm a beginner in Swift. So, I can generally follow along. But the way the book is set up, it is neither suitable for people with no programming experience at all, or for those of us who have coded for a while. It strikes an unhappy middle ground.SHORT975 locations. 73 pages. You're getting nowhere, fast.Stay away. And I want my money back. Seeing the wording in many of the reviews (many of them unverified purchases) lead me to believe they are false.

The first few sections of this book are quite suitable for beginners -- variables, loops, functions, the basic things that any programmer should know about any language. The last couple of sections, structures and classes, are suddenly much harder for a beginner to understand. I've been programming in various languages for decades and I was all but lost with the turn of a page. Most disappointingly, this book does not even mention two rather significant topics that I bought the book for: error handling (try/catch) and optional/unwrapped variables. The plus side is that this is about the least expensive Swift book on the market. The downside is that I got virtually no value from it.Three stars for what it provides to those who need this kind of introduction, take away stars for being over our heads in the last sections and completely overlooking basic concepts I bump into with about every new line of code I try to write.

Incredible read and pleasant substance book. The data is given in this book about this entire strategy in detail and the writer characterized the a lot of points of interest of it. Marvelous purchase!

I liekd this book. Swift is a very interesting and helpful technology. This book helped me to learn it easily and fast. The book is well-done and has a good explanation.

This book helped me to learn it easily and fast. The book is well-done and has a good explanation. The exercises produce some reasonably non-trivial apps to demonstrate the techniques being taught.

Wow book. This book helped me to learn it easily and fast. The book is well-done and has a good explanation.Recommended.

The data is given in this book about this entire strategy in detail and the writer characterized the a lot of focal points of it. Because of the writer for an extraordinary book and the work done.

The History of Jazz, by Ted Gioia

Review

"The best book of its kind."--Gary Giddins, author of Visions of Jazz: The First Century"A remarkable piece of work... encyclopedic, discriminating, provocative, perceptive and eminently readable. ...If you are looking for an introduction to jazz, this is it. If you know and love jazz well, this is your vade mecum. Me, I expect to be reading around in it for the rest of my life."--Jonathan Yardley, The Washington Post"Ted Gioia's herculean The History of Jazz...navigates this wild country with immense sophistication, scholarship, and wit. In fact, Gioia's History stands a good chance of becoming the standard guide for general readers and academics."--Village Voice"An authoritative work of research that doesn't spare the poetic power of words."--James Sullivan, San Francisco Chronicle"Anyone looking for a balanced, well-written popular history of jazz will certainly find [The History of Jazz] both readable and reliable."--The Wall Street Journal"A very detailed telling of the events occurring throughout the 20th century that led to the creation and growth of jazz. It makes for an informative and enjoyable reading experience for all who love the art form."--Horace Alexander Young, Washington State University"An excellent, well-written text that makes the subject understandable and interesting."--Brian Q. Torff, Fairfield University"Very well researched, easy to read but extremely articulate. Mr. Gioia has accomplished a seemingly difficult feat with great ease."--Wendel Werner, Roane State Community College"A miracle of concision, Ted Gioia's History of Jazz fills the most conspicuous gap in the music's literature. Marshall Stearns published The Story of Jazz 40 years ago, and the need for a work that would update the story, while incorporating new research and insights, has long been apparent. Gioia does the job with polish, clarity, justice, and surprising completeness--it's the best book of its kind."--Gary Giddins, author of Visions of Jazz: The First Century (forthcoming from OUP in 1998)"If you wanted to introduce someone to jazz with a single book, this would be a good choice."--Kirkus Reviews"Gioia generously considers the obviously major players yet notes hundreds of other musicians, too, always with a perspicacity born out of his own working knowledge...and the literary fluency of the essayist whose Imperfect Art is one of the best younger critics' books."--Booklist"[The History of Jazz] is a remarkable piece of work, not without its shortcomings or its invitations to argument but, withal, the definitive work: encyclopedic, discriminating, provocative, perceptive and eminently readable. With its publication, it can no longer be said that the literature of jazz falls far short of the music itself.... The sweep of Ted Gioia's narrative is grand, indeed helps us understand just how grand the story of jazz really is.... If you are looking for an introduction to jazz, this is it. If you know and love jazz well, this is your vade mecum. Me, I expect to be reading around in it for the rest of my life."--Jonathan Yardley, The Washington Post, Chosen as One of the 20 Best Books of the Year"This well-researched, extensively annotated volume covers the major trends and personalities that have shaped jazz. The excellent bibliography and list of recommended listening make this a valuable purchase for libraries building a jazz collection."--Library Journal"Ted Gioia's herculean The History of Jazz...navigates this wild country with immense sophistication, scholarship, and wit. In fact, Gioia's History stands a good chance of becoming the standard guide for general readers and academics."--Greg Tate, Village Voice"An authoritative work of research that doesn't spare the poetic power of words."--James Sullivan, San Francisco Chronicle"Anyone looking for a balanced, well-written popular history of jazz will certainly find [The History of Jazz] both readable and reliable."--The Wall Street Journal"An all-encompassing short history of the genre that has dominated 20th-century music."--he New York Times Book Review, A Notable Book of 1998"...a masterful and fair-minded work" - The Misread City"The mass of information is structured by a strong linear narrative and is carried along by Gioia's poetic turn of phrase. One of the best, and most even-handed, surveys of jazz and its literature." Financial Times"For the past 25 years, author and teacher Ted Gioia has provided the most succinct and contemporary histories of America's native musics: blues and jazz. He has done this through his exceptional facility for taking all the previous literature, separating the wheat from the chaff, correcting the errors and myths, and burnishing a brand new shine on the music whole." --AllAboutJazz.com

After having purchased and read Gioia's superb book on blues, I naturally wanted to read up on jazz and its history, and this book for the most part is extremely passionate, accurate, and has made points I had thought of myself, such as the indelible influence on jazz from both the blues and especially ragtime, particularly the works of Scott Joplin. I am pleased to have discovered Bix Beiderbecke and Jack Trambauer and ordered an incredible CD featuring the legendary cornetist, saxophonist, and as a plus, some tunes with jazz guitarist Eddie Lang spicing up the tunes. Truly, Beiderbecke, and others of the Chicago early jazz scene lifted the Dixieland New Orleans style from its somewhat flamboyant styles and started the movement that would become swing in a few years. Plus, my admiration for Benny Goodman, Duke Ellington and Charlie Christian was verified by Gioia, certainly a far more educated person on jazz than most people ever will be. And this from a guy who also loves metal, blues, classic rock, the early rockers like the Beach Boys, Chuck Berry, Beatles, Dave Clark Five, etc. The musician in me is attracted to so many styles it's ridiculous. We learn of the beginnings of Miles Davis' unbelievable early recordings, including the one album most consider maybe the greatest jazz album of all time, "Kind of Blue". Coltrane, Ornette Coleman, Charlie Parker, on through fusion and today's state of the genre are all well represented. However, I must take great exception with this book for a good reason in my opinion, and it cost Gioia a star: he seems nearly indifferent to some of the greatest players ever, mainly the guitarists. And the B-3 organ, especially discounting the great Jimmy Smith and his many many albums with greats like Kenny Burrell, Wes Montgomery and Grant Green among them. Gioia even goes so far as to consider this form of bebop and hard bop as hackneyed, if you can believe that. Only scant attention is paid to Montgomery, who was and remains the greatest jazz guitarist in history. Eddie Lang is mentioned, as is Django Reinhardt, but only Charlie Christian in the author's mind seems to merit more than just passing commentary. I find this one sided and unfair. Fact is, jazz guitar reaches more people, with titans like Burrell especially on his magnum opus "Midnight Blue" playing with an incredible combination of blues and hard bop style. No less guitar greats than Jimi Hendrix, who loved Burrell and Stevie Ray Vaughan sung his praises, with Vaughan performing a fine cover of "Chitlins Con Carne" Grant Green is receiving more attention now, ironically as he died from drug abuse in 1979. But his funky stylings are still popular, as are his brilliant earlier recordings with Sonny Clarke, Jimmy Smith, Stanley Turrentine, Elvin Jones and Art Blakey. Pat Metheny is mentioned, but consider this list of guitarists Gioia deigned to even acknowledge, preferring instead to obsess over horn players and pianists as if guitars were hardly worthy of his attention. At no point do we read about George Van Eps, Pat Martino, Jimmy Bruno, Danny Gatton's fine jazz output, Russell Malone, or the incredible Stanley Jordan. Nor do we get any mention of Mike Stern, and other well known players. This is not an oversight - it's a disrespectful and deliberate commentary on what Gioia clearly considers an instrument worthy of mention only in the most unavoidable instances. This is puzzling, as he clearly understands guitar music as evidenced by his book on the blues. But the history of the wonderful world of jazz music is still well worth the time to read. I will not disparage other instrumentalists endemic to the form, but I must confess as a guitar player, I am biased about the exclusion of its importance. Frankly to me, monosyllabic instruments that can only play one note at a time are severely limited in their scope and have to rely on other musicians for chord colorings, expressive solos, etc. I really have difficulty telling one saxophone player from another unless the style is unusually prominent. For example, Coleman Hawkins, one of the longest lived heroes of jazz has a more laid back approach than John Coltrane. Benny Goodman managed to forge a distinct style on the clarinet, and Miles Davis in his "cool" phase had a great tone. The less said about his material beginning with "Bitches Brew" the better in my view, as it remains to me a convoluted unfocused barrage of tones that are the aural equivalent of pretentious and frankly, worthless modern art. We are unlikely to see a more complex but readable history of the jazz world, however, and Gioia's research and knowledge are indeed encyclopedic. Just expect a LOT of coverage on saxophones.

If you happen to be new to the subject of jazz history - as I was 17 years ago when I read the first edition of this book, in paperback - then this book is a very good place to start. Back then I had only a minimal knowledge of the big names and movements in jazz history, but I was very eager to expand my jazz knowledge beyond the "smooth jazz" that was ruling the airwaves at the time. This is a great deal of information and I learned so much the first time (and ended up buying a lot of great CDs as a result), but many of the names and their stories went over my head. Also, logistically the paperback version features large pages, very long chapters, and small print. So it was very challenging to read when there wasn't much "white space".Fast forward 17 years, to the second edition (on my Kindle, so I can adjust the print size), and on the second swipe of this book the pieces began to fall in to place. This is not a quick, easy read and when the author mentions styles of music and cites specific songs - you just want the book to jump out and start playing these songs! I heard spotify is a good way to do this but it would take months to finish the book if you tried to hear everything. The best "sound" companion to this would be the Ken Burns "Jazz" documentary from 2000, which I have watched several times. It's not completely comprehensive, that would take five times as long, but you can hear a lot of the styles and learn some of the basics. Then you can start enjoying America's greatest contribution to music. And you'll have your favorites as I do: Billie Holiday (what's my dog's name?), Miles Davis, Duke Ellington, Thelonius Monk, Ella Fitzgerald, and so many more...

Ted Gioia writes a very unbiased book on the history of jazz. Many of the documentaries/books have lots of opinions, but Ted Gioia tries to remain neutral. We had to read this book for my first year in Jazz Studies at the Eastman School of Music

What the World Eats, by Faith D'Aluisio Peter Menzel

Amazon.com Review

Book DescriptionEvery day, millions of families around the world gather--at the table or on the floor, in a house or outdoors--to eat together. Ever wondered what a typical meal is like on the other side of the world? Or next door? Cultural geographers Peter Menzel and Faith D'Aluisio visited twenty-five families in twenty-one countries to create this fascinating look at what people around the world eat in a week. Meet a family that spends long hours hunting for seal and fish together; a family that raises and eats guinea pigs; a family that drinks six gallons of Coca-Cola a week. In addition to profiles of each family, What the World Eats includes photo galleries and illustrated charts about fast food, safe water, life expectancy, literacy rates, and more! Each family's profile features: * Full-color photographs, including each family posing with the food consumed in a week. * Information about each family's food, including cost and quantity. * A world map showing where each family lives. * Facts about that country, including population, currency, average income, and more. This enthralling glimpse into cultural similarities and differences is at once a striking photographic essay and an essential study in nutrition and the global marketplace. A Letter From the Authors Traveling to a country to research what people eat is a fabulous way to understand it. Even better is traveling to a lot of countries to compare and contrast what people eat and why. That's what we did in What the World Eats. The centerpiece of our coverage in each of 21 countries is a photographic portrait of a family with one week's worth of food. One of the best parts of the book are the grocery lists that we compiled to show exactly what each of our families were buying. We list brand names and food amounts as well, as it's interesting to see how certain brands are incredibly well-traveled. In some countries we covered more than one family. In China, for instance, we included both a rural farming family, the Cuis, and an urban one, the Dongs, who live in Bejing. The two families' eating habits are very different. The Dongs shop in a modern supermarket for the same types of foods that one might find in the United States, and use convenience foods. The Dongs eat in restaurants occasionally and their son loves KFC. The Cuis, conversely, have never tasted fast food, and always eat at home. They buy their food from small shops and outdoor markets as the Dongs used to before China began to modernize. If you look at both of their photographs, both have fresh foods in abundance, but there are many branded items on the Dong's table, and only one in the Cui's week's worth of food. The Dong's table looks more like that of one of our three American families covered in the book. In every chapter we include details of our discussions with the families about their lives and circumstances. We traveled to a refugee camp in Chad to spend time with sixteen-year-old Abdel Karim Aboubakar and his mother and siblings. The Aboubakar's are one of thousands of Sudanese families from Darfur displaced by the genocide taking place in their home country. They escaped over the border to avoid being killed and now live in refugee tent cities. His family's food consists of grain porridge, some dried vegetables, and water—all supplied by the United Nations and its member countries. It's interesting to watch children with this book in their hands. It doesn't require being read from front to back and they don't approach it in that manner anyway; they're drawn in by the food portraits and begin immediately to compare themselves to what they see. Afterward they go back to fill in information. What the World Eats is meant to get kids thinking about the world around them, but also about the food on their own plates. The U.S. Center for Disease Control reports that one in every three children born in the year 2000 will develop type 2 diabetes at some point during their life, and that more than 60 percent of American adults, and 30 percent of children are overweight or obese. This in one of the richest, most powerful countries on the planet; we are eating ourselves to death, but we can do something about it if we understand the problems. This book aids that understanding. Each family is photographed surrounded by a week's worth of food and groceries, which Menzel and D'Aluisio use as a way of investigating not only different cultures' diets and standard of living but also the impact of globalization: why doesn't abundance bring better health, instead of increased occurrences of diabetes and similar diseases? These points are made lightly: delivered almost conversationally, the main narrative presents friendly, multigenerational portraits of each family, with meals and food preparation an avenue toward understanding their hopes and struggles. A wealth of supporting information—lush color photographs, family recipes, maps, sidebars, etc.—surrounds the text (superb design accomplishes this job harmoniously) and implies questions about global food supplies. Pictures of subsistence farmers in Ecuador cultivating potatoes from mountainous soil form sharp contrasts with those of supermarkets in a newly Westernized Poland. Fact boxes for each country tabulate revealing statistics, among them the percentage of the population living on less than $2 per day (47% in China, where the average daily caloric intake is nonetheless 2,930 per person); the percentage with diabetes; number of KFC franchises. Engrossing and certain to stimulate. All ages. (Sept.) Copyright © Reed Business Information, a division of Reed Elsevier Inc. All rights reserved.

This book is fascinating, and the photos are lovely. Each story includes a detailed shopping list for a week's groceries, as well as the cost in US dollars. I found the focus on diabetes and obesity tiresome by the end of the book. I would have preferred more information about the families and their foods. I found myself wondering how the ingredients on the grocery lists were prepared.

Wow and wow. We love this book. We have had a lot of big juicy conversations with our ten year olds thanks to this. Beautiful photography, the story of each family written in narrative, engaging, interesting, and so so important in teaching our kids that the world isn't always how it is here in the States.

I agree with the reviewer that said to get Hungry Planet instead if it's for older kids. But this version makes the material more accessible for younger children. Food offers a concrete way to relate to other cultures. The photos of families with a week's worth of groceries bring out cultural differences and make differences in affluence vivid and explicit. When my six-year-old daughter saw the photo of one family from a refugee camp with their meager sacks of food--in dramatic contrast to the abundant array of colorful packaged foods surrounding the families of developed countries--she asked, bewildered, "why do they have so little?" (Um, do you want the short answer to that, or the long answer?) There are so many ways to compare the photos and think about differences in diet. Every photo seems to tell many stories, often surprising. The book helps children understand poverty, malnutrition, and the industrial food system, but also invites them to marvel at the fascinating variety of food worldwide, and develop curiosity about other cultures.

This is such a great book. Wonderfully done and very thought provoking. Good quality item. Highly recommended.

Great coffee table book that is very interesting to read or simply flip through the pages. The stark difference to some countries and the amazing similarities to others jumps out at you immediately as look through the pages. I bought this copy as a gift for a friend and they absolutely love it. Foodies and food curious alike will enjoy this.

Great book for kids to see what other families around the world eat. Color pictures throughout the book.

Awesome book!

I first read "Material World" and have since read many of their other books. This is another great one in the series. Their powerful photographs really capture so much. There is no way to show the diversity in each country with one or two families...so I think it must be taken with that caution - especially when using with kids.

I bought this book for my grandson and Amazon offered me a kindle version for a —lower than the kindle was priced at —price. So I got the Kindle for myself (after reading a couple reviews) and started to play. This book is great to loosen anyone up and get drawing. There are soooo many books on copying the zentangle patterns to learn how to doodle and draw. While I love those books —you are still being taught to copy someone's designs. This book gets kids drawing through the exercises. They learn to create their own versions and take the designs their way. Even if you are not a kid you can use this book to get your imaginations going -have some fun and draw away.

I purchased this book because I love Jeanette Nyberg and have been following her for years on pinterest, Facebook, etc. Her art projects and quips on life are always interesting. She brings all of her Internet cleverness to Tangle Art & Drawing Games for Kids. I am an assistant director at an afterschool program and brought the book to work with me. As soon as they saw the book, a group of six 3rd graders sat and did projects from it for a couple of hours. They still ask to use it months later...this is a big deal! The content is perfect for various developmentall levels, best suited for 2nd through 5th grade...but, older children and adults will enjoy as well.

My 5 and 6 year olds Love this! I thought my youngest would be too young, but he totally took to a number of the fun and creative ideas. We've only tried a few, but flipping through, it looks like there's not a dud in the bunch. We're all excited to explore more.

I put off writing this review because I am a therapist, work with children, and planned to use the book as a supplement to group work. I thought it would be useful to include a reference to that, so I held off. The problem is the book never made it to work. I opened it, got sucked into making a geometry tree, and am still working through the rest of the book several weeks later. In my profession I am so busy looking out for other peoples’ feelings I sometimes don’t have time to feel my own. Self-care is a constantly evolving theme in my life, so something that allows me to quiet my mind, inspire my creativity, and give me a few minutes to focus on myself is a priceless gift. I could write more but would rather go work on my fingerprint self-portrait while I wind down for the evening. Apparently when I order another copy to use at work I should include one for my adult groups as well……

I love this book. I have no imagination or drawing talent. There is nothing more intimidating to me than a blank sheet of paper! This book and the activities are greatly enjoyed by my grandson and I. Most of the time he wants to be playing some sort of ball game. But when I can get him to chill for awhile, we love to sit together and do a few of the drawing games. I love how they are open-ended with no exact goals to create. In fact, we often laugh at the crazy things we've put down on paper. He is super competitive, so having an activity were there are no "winners" is a good balance for him. I would highly recommend this book. I have been telling my other "grandma friends" about it.

I am so thrilled with how much this book is inspiring my seven-year-old son to draw! He enjoys the drawing games/prompts, and after he finishes working on them, he either asks to do another game or continues drawing on his own for long periods of time. In just a week and a half of doing an activity out of the book every day or so, I've already noticed an increased sense of confidence in the lines of his drawings. Plus, I'm enjoying playing the drawing games along with him, and we've ended up collaborating on a few of them, too, which is very fun. So pleased with this book!

I'm an art teacher and teach at a small school district grade pre-k-12. This book is my go to for when I have a substitute. The lessons are cleaver and have detailed step by step instructions with visuals.

This book has very creative ideas which are not too complicated for young children, but older children [or adults!] will also enjoy. These creative activities can be done simply or in great detailed depth, depending how far the 'artist' wants to take it. I teach Kindergarten and have used some of this book with my students, and I have also gotten ideas to use in my own journals and sketchbooks. With Jeanette Nyberg's style of writing, she makes everything fun and understandable, as well as entertaining!

I was excited to read this book given the credentials of the authors; however, it fell short of my expectations. If you are new to the industry maybe this is worth a read. If you have been in the industry and you pay attention to the news, I do not recommend this book. At times, the book felt very repetitive -- I felt as if I was reading the same set of buzzwords over and over again. I believe all the information provided could have easily been presented in a white paper. Or the authors could have made the book shorter and more concise. That said, there are a few golden nuggets of information and some interesting history on certain aspects of the industry.

When I got into managed care in 1989 there were two premises: 1. premium increases (then approaching $100/month) were unsustainable. and, 2. healthcare purchasers should pay for value. Therefore, I was amazed but not surprised to see the premises of Elton's 2016 book: 1. premium increases are unsustainable, and 2. paying for value was coming. There was no discussion on the why's of these points from Elton but were asserted as universally accepted truths and a basis for change. There are practical challenges to the pay for value concept including the unscrupulous doctor who convince healthy people they need procedures will have the best outcomes. Elton does not delve into these dilemmas but touches on numerous topics at a high level and appeared to be a vehicle to sell consulting services. On the flip side the book was smoothly written and of some value.

If you work in healthcare or a related industry or are just interested in the understanding the "tsunami of change" that is coming, then this is a must-read! The book starts with the forces at play that are driving the change from the old business models to the new, drawing parallels with other industries that are further along similar transformations, and outlines the emerging business models enabled to a large extent by digital technologies. Two other major themes highlighted in the book are the focus on value and improved outcomes, and patient-centricity. The book closes by painting the picture of "a new age of healthcare", and the strategic questions that need to be addressed as a result.I loved the examples and parallels drawn throughout the book to expand upon the points made. I also like how the assertions are all very well supported by references and citations. One thing that would help the reader may be a summary of key takeaways at the end of each chapter, although the titles and headings do provide a good outline and structure. All in all, a fantastic read and highly recommended!

Has a good section on the digital movement in healthcare, but overall somewhat disappointed after reading from start to finish. Better suited for those that want an intro to the ideas that are relevant today in Healthcare, first few chapters are fairly good for that.Perhaps the purpose Healthcare Disrupted needs to be clarified, as it spends more time categorizing and creating frameworks than actually giving information. For example, the authors tell you the questions you should be asking - but I bought this book not looking for the questions, but some answers. I wanted opinions and insights, but this book only gives content anybody would agree on.Additionally, Healthcare Disrupted lacks focus as it tries to tie in biotech, pharma, generics, healthcare services, healthcare IT, and healthcare software startups into 4 categories ... when it might make sense to focus just on healthcare delivery rather than oversimplify the complex healthcare system into 4 buckets: value-creators, around-the-patient, lean innovators, digital startups (probably the strongest section). Not sure I agree with their all-encompassing approach- feel like a lot of content was sacrificed and the messaging was lost.

I used it for a course in a curriculum Inwas developing, and it met my need.

Dense, but good.

Jeff Elton demonstrates his incredible knowledge of the healthcare world in this book. Anyone who even has a vague interest in healthcare and its future should definitely read!

Game-changer: this book lays out the framework for how life sciences will shift to end-to-end patient care. Jeff and Anne put into words and provides a game plan for what healthcare leaders are struggling with today. I frequently refer to this book as I think through the future of patient, services and solutions with my clients.

Arrived on time. Requested by grandkids' piano teacher who likes it. I find piano books much easier on Amazon than she can in music store and Smile gives a little to my choral group, besides.

I've been teaching for years and I like this method.

One of several different piano teaching methods available. I find it especially good for elementary age children.

No better books for the price!

My little piano players love to play in this book series. The songs are fun and help hone the concepts they are working on through the lessons.

Alfred has a good series of books for the beginning pianist. This Solo Book introduces playing today's music. The songs are fun and they include the words for everyone to sing along!!

I would recommend this book to buy for beginners. Absolute a step by step process to learn and aquire new skills without being frustrated

My daughter loves how the books have a variety of songs, and they keep bringing back more complex versions of songs she learned in level one. We are able to see her grow as a piano player.
